Johannes Wessels elected rector of the Westf?lische Wilhelms – Universit?t M?nster

While the elections for the new ALICE Spokesperson were in full swing during the last Collaboration Week, Hannes was up for an entirely different vote. He was the only candidate nominated by the search committee for the next rector of the University of M?nster. The university is located in the northern part of Germany some 80 km from the Dutch boarder. With its 15 faculties and more than 43.000 students it is one of the largest universities in the country. Hannes will take office starting in October. Of course his group will remain in ALICE and keep its involvement in the TRD and in the many analyses.
